Castile Soap (liquid)

  • Body -Use directly on loofa, washcloth, sponge for an invigorating shower or bath.

  • Foot Soak -A capful in a basin of warm water: a perfect antidote to tired, sore feet.

  • Bubble Bath/Baby Bath -One cap full in running water for a luxurious bath-the gentle safe way to bathe your baby.

  • General Use Cleaner -Its naturally powerful cleaning ability will get your floors, counters, bathrooms, and kitchen utensils spotlessly clean. Use one part soap to 40 parts water for light cleaning; use it straight for very tough jobs.

  • Shampoo -Effectively cleans hair, but may dry it out. (People with short and/or curly hair seem to have the best luck using castile soap as a shampoo.) A diluted vinegar rinse may be helpful to remove residue. Castile soap has a high alkalinity level (between pH of 9 to 11), whereas hair is usually slightly acidic. Liquid castile soap is generally not recommended for washing hair for this reason.

  • Tooth brushing –Apply a drop or two to a wet toothbrush. Brush and rinse as you would normally.

  • Clothing/Diapers -Use it to clean a spot or your entire laundry. Use ¼ cup to 1/3 cup for a regular sized load, adding a dash of baking soda for even better results. Leaves diapers fluffy and soft without any irritating residues.

  • Hand Soap -Gentle on you hands and tough on dirt.

  • Fruit Wash -A couple of dashes in water cleans pesticide residues off you fruits and vegetables.

  • Shave -A few drops in your hand make a wonderful lather for a refreshing shave.

  • Family Pets -The gentle way to groom your pets that brings out the natural luster of their coats.

  • Travelers, Backpackers, and Campers -The perfect all-in-one cleaner. One soap simply does it all without fouling up the environment.
